J. KIDD Creative Director | Master Stylist | Hair Loss Specialist Jessica Kidd, a hairstylist, philanthropist, and entrepreneur started her journey in the hair industry at the young age of 19. As a child Jessica was always intrigued by her aunts who were seamstresses and beauticians, where she believes her passion for beauty and fashion developed. Upon her high school graduation, Jessica had completed all requirements, and was an eligible candidate for a Cosmetology license. She received her Cosmetology License a year later in 2004. As a graduate of Morgan State University, with a degree in Public Relations, Jessica, has only sharpened her career goal. She plans to explore the fields of beauty and fashion to its fullest potential, while applying key public relations principles and practices.
After living in Atlanta for almost three years, Jessica made the business decision to return back to her hometown. Arriving on Baltimore soil, she hit the ground running, relaunching her brand with everything she learned during her stay in Georgia.
Seeing the growing demand for trichologists in her area, Jessica became certified in Hair Loss in 2016. In January, 2017 Jessica launched a hair restoration clinic right inside of her salon suite. She creates her own line of hair elixirs and in salon herbal treatments to help clients suffering from dry, damaged, and thinning hair. Her natural products are retailed at House Of Bombshell as well as the salon's compete line of hair care that includes: holding spray, shine spray, and their coveted edge control.
She looks forward to nurturing new stylists and mentoring them as they grow in their careers. Seeing new and seasoned talent bloom into their greatest selves under her mentorship and coaching has been fulfilling. Jasmine's love for the beauty industry began at a very young age. For as long as she could remember she has loved all things beauty related. After completing her undergrad career and receiving her bachelor’s degree, Jasmine decided to give corporate America a try. She quickly realized that she didn’t share the same passion for her job as she did for doing hair. From that point, she embarked on her journey to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a licensed Cosmetologist.
Now that Jasmine is a Paul Mitchell graduate and licensed professional, she feels like she is living within her purpose. Jasmine says "I am confident I can do anything by simply stepping out on faith." With her additional training and knowledge obtained while working under Jessica Kidd, Jasmine aims to provide an exceptional salon experience for all existing and potential clients.
